Transformation does not happen without great partners. Here are some of the organizations and individuals we proudly support and partner with as we work together to build toward the Beloved Community.
In June 2003 Rev. Dr. Yvette Flunder is the Presiding Bishop of The Fellowship a multi-denominational coalition of primarily African American Christian leaders and laity representing churches and faith-based organizations from all parts of the United States, and extending to Mexico, three countries in Africa and most recently, Asia. TFAM is in covenantal relationship with The United Church of Christ, The Metropolitan Community Church and The Centers for
Spiritual Living.
Drawing on the transformational history of the First Reconstruction following the Civil War and the Second Reconstruction of the civil rights struggles of the 20th century, the Third Reconstruction is a revival of our constitutional commitment to establish justice, provide for the general welfare, end decades of austerity, and recognize that policies that center the 140 million poor and low-income people in the country are also good economic policies that can heal and transform the nation.
